1. Verify that your phone is connected through USB (Windows/Mac)
When connecting your Android phone to your computer, you have many connectivity options. Each mode serves a distinct purpose, and some may prevent your phone from appearing on your computer at all.
Changing your phone's connection mode allows your computer to recognize it. How to accomplish that is as follows:
1.Using a USB cable, connect your phone to the computer.
2.Pull down the notification bar to reveal an Android system entry indicating the current connection mode. To access the USB Preferences screen, tap the connection mode item.
3.Choose File Transfer as your method of communication.
After that, your phone should appear in File Explorer or Finder as a storage drive. You can now begin copying and transferring files to and from your device.
2. On Your Computer, Update the MTP USB Drivers (Windows)
